MISS SMITH

I just got tickets for Patti Smith when she will play at the Troxy in september...my mum was a fan and now is my chance to finally see her!
The Troxy is this crazy place that also does cage fighting, we went to see Jarvis Cocker play there it was brilliant, such a great atmosphere...

Je viens d'acheter les billets pour le prochain concert de Patty Smith au Troxy en septembre...ma maman est fan et maintenant je vais avoir enfin l'occasion de la voir en live!
Le Troxy est cette salle retro incroyable qui organise des combats de boxeurs en cage, nous sommes alles voir le concert de Jarvis Cocker, il y avait une atmosphere geniale renforcee par ce decor tres kitsch!

This is the one! We went to John Lewis because they had  a really good choice of wallpaper over the internet but in the actual shop there was nothing in stock .But we discovered the catalogue of Missprint and loved it! I ordered it directly.
In yellow because even if we live in North London I do not
give up on decorating our flat as if we lived in Marseille or Nice!
I know we will get there one day! This is such a happy colour and I love the vintage
feel...The bottom half of the walls around the loos, the tiny sink and its little tiles above, the radiator will be painted either white or  very light grey or very pale yellow...

Voila notre papier peint! Nous sommes alles chez John Lewis car il y avait un choix extraordinaire sur leur site internet, mais une fois sur place ils n'avaient rien en stock!
Heureusement nous avons pu decouvrir le catalogue de Missprint et avons adore! Je l'ai commande directement.
En jaune car meme si nous vivons dans le nord de Londres je n'abandonne pas l'idee de decorer notre appartement comme si nous vivions dans le sud vers Marseille ou Nice!
Je sais qu'on va finir par y aller un jour! C'est une couleur qui remonte le moral et j'aime l'esprit retro.Je vais le poser sur la moitie haute des murs et les 2 carres sur la porte. Pour le bas mur des toilettes et le radiateur j'hesite entre gris perle et ecru ou jaune tres pale...

Next on my list  for a different area is a wall fabric hanging we have a smallish wall on top of the newly painted white wood stairs (by myself!) with white walls and I'm thinking of getting one of these.
Prochains sur ma liste pour le haut des escaliers je voudrai un tissu pour le mur, les escaliers sont en bois blanc (repaints par moi!) et les murs blancs, j'hesite entre ces 2 possibilites vus sur ebay toujours.
